THE OPERATING LAYER BEHIND QORTEX
From Design to As-Built. One Connected Record.
QortexOne is the software platform being developed to connect how QORTEX designs, deploys, documents, and supports technology infrastructure. Instead of allowing project information to disappear across drawings, spreadsheets, emails, field notes, and disconnected systems, QortexOne is designed to preserve important infrastructure information throughout the technology lifecycle.
INFRASTRUCTURE KNOWLEDGE DISAPPEARS
The Project Ends. The Questions Start.
After many technology projects, critical information becomes difficult to find. What was installed? Where is it located? What switch is it connected to? What cable serves it? Which rack contains the equipment? What changed from the original design? Traditional project documentation often answers these questions across multiple disconnected files — if the information was captured at all. QortexOne is designed around a different approach.
One Record Across the Technology Lifecycle.
01 DESIGN — Capture the intended system, device locations, infrastructure requirements, and project scope.
02 ESTIMATE — Connect project design with the equipment, labor, and services required to deliver it.
03 DEPLOY — Track the project as equipment and infrastructure move from design into the physical environment.
04 VERIFY — Support quality-control and commissioning information during project closeout.
05 DOCUMENT — Convert field information into a usable as-built record of the installed environment.
06 SUPPORT — Maintain infrastructure context as systems are serviced, expanded, changed, and eventually replaced.

MORE THAN A FLOOR PLAN
Understand the Infrastructure Behind the Device.
A camera icon on a floor plan only tells part of the story. QortexOne is being designed to connect physical devices with the infrastructure that supports them: Site → Building → Floor → Room / Area → Device → Cable → Patch Panel → Switch Port → Network Rack → Uplink / Infrastructure. It is intended to support records for cameras, access-controlled doors, readers, intercoms, wireless access points, switches, racks, UPS systems, cable paths, and infrastructure locations.
WHY IT MATTERS
Better Information Makes Infrastructure Easier to Manage.
SERVICE — Give technicians better context before troubleshooting begins.
EXPANSION — Understand existing infrastructure before adding more technology.
PLANNING — Maintain better visibility into installed equipment and future replacement requirements.
DOCUMENTATION — Reduce dependence on institutional knowledge and disconnected project files.
The long-term goal of QortexOne is not to create another system customers have to constantly update themselves. It is designed to become part of how QORTEX executes projects and supports customers — allowing useful infrastructure information to be captured through the work already being performed.
